If you plan on doing any existing in the future, this story will be relevant. I promise.

Frankenstein isn’t even the “wretched monster’s” name. It’s the doctor’s.

This is simplistic humanity to the core, told with no filter and no interest in fluff or for even one more word than necessary.

It’s fun in the same way the dangerous thrill of some youthfully rebellious act is laughable and melodramatic in retrospect.

This was probably more fun 100 years ago.

This one has pushed me to unravel its message more than most.

A quick, engaging read with one of fiction’s greatest detectives on a stranded train, working to solve a murder. What more could you want?

Clearly, I was meant to read this book at this moment, and it happens to be a great one as well.

No doubt this book is still going to be relevant 100 years from now. Maybe more so.
