What a gem this is!

What the heck, where was this quality in the first three?

Do you ever put on a TV show when you’re focusing on something else, just to have some background noise? This series could be that show.

Who IS this written for exactly?

After the last book, this felt like pulling the e-brake on my brain.

I felt kind of dumb for not knowing what the hell was going on for a good chunk of the book, but it was still a wild ride.

I feel like sitting and thinking and staring out a rainy window.

It had a lot of potential and some great moments, but lacked the magic of Corwin’s Cycle.

It’s also really cool to see these entities that have been integral to the series from the beginning become important in a whole new way.

I would probably rate this a 3.5 if I could.

It’s a testament to the world that’s been built that there’s always the underlying urge to continue.

And jumping back into Amber after a short break.

Clearly, I was meant to read this book at this moment, and it happens to be a great one as well.

Solid end to the arc.
